Josh Bremer

Architecture tells a story and Josh brings a unique mindset to our firm with designs that illuminate how that story will unfold.

Josh’s problem-solving skills started with inventive LEGO creations he built as a kid and developed into a more refined approach once he took architecture classes in high school and college. He began to appreciate how architecture benefits from a problem-solving methodology.

“The more involved I got with architecture, the more I fell in love with how many different ways it can resolve large-scale community issues, as well as individual concerns. I began to see the world through a new lens and pursued a dual master’s degree in architecture and urban design. This expanded my belief that psychological and philosophical ideas and concerns should be reflected in architectural design.

“I am a firm believer that your home should be a direct representation of how you want to live your life. 42° North Architecture shares this commitment that home design begins only after we discover who our client is and how their life functions.”

Josh will work to smooth the path from initial design concepts to construction documents taking projects to construction completion, so this next chapter in our clients’ lives has a happy ending.

“[W]e discover who our client is and how their life functions.”
