Roberto’s inquisitive nature was fueled by working beside his dad pouring and finishing concrete building foundations. Watching solid form develop into a living structure, he wondered who the mastermind was behind this transformation. He knew at an early age that he wanted to learn all the details behind how a house is built. While pursuing his master of architecture degree, Roberto is learning the practical and technical attributes of architecture; but his real education began in the fall of 2019 at 42° North.
“Working at a smaller firm has given me one-on-one contact and access to the lead designer and architect gaining experience that I never would in school. I’m working on construction drawings, and also learning the first steps through final execution, and thriving on the freedom of aesthetics I have here.”
School focused Roberto’s efforts on creating experiential spaces for people; yet he observed how 42° North approaches each client project and it has inspired a love for residential design.
“We listen to each client to discover what they love and what they don’t; what their lifestyle is; so we can create spaces that become very influential and impactful for them. We are building a home that will create memories for their loved ones, grandkids, and generations to come.”
